A revised Portable Air Conditioners, v5.1 template has been posted on the CCMS web site. This template aligns with the amended certification requirements in 10 CFR Part 429.62(b)(2) and (3) established in the final rule published on October 9, 2024 at 89 FR 81994. This template also requires that all applicable data fields be completed, now that they are required to demonstrate compliance with the January 10, 2025 energy conservation standards.

This revised template may be used immediately, but must be used for all submissions no later than May 7, 2025 to certify compliance with the Combined Energy Efficiency Ratio (CEER) energy conservation standards in 10 CFR Part 430.32(cc) that go into effect on January 10, 2025.
