A Portable Air Conditioners, v5.0 template has been posted on the CCMS web site.  As of October 1, 2022, the Federal Trade Commission requires manufacturers to provide the link to the EnergyGuide label for each basic model of portable air conditioner in accordance with 16 CFR 305.11(a)(5). All other data fields in this template are optional until manufacturers are required to demonstrate compliance with the energy conservation standards for portable air conditioners manufactured on or after January 10, 2025. If any of the other data fields are completed for a model, all of the other data fields must be completed. Any data provided in a certification template in addition to the EnergyGuide link that is identified as public information pursuant to 10 CFR 429.62(b) will be displayed in the CCMS Compliance Certification Database.
